FIS Film Festival 2013: The Little Lamb
Last year Mr. Fabisiak's class created a beautiful stop motion animation around the theme of Spring. It was called The Little Lamb. Each child in his class contributed in their own way to the production, from creating the backgrounds, adding sound, choosing music and, of course working on the animation. The film was presented to the school in our regular weekly assembly where the school hall was transformed into a cinema. Tickets were much sought after and there were intriguing posters put up around the school advertising the event. On the day itself the film was projected onto a large screen in front of the whole school. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience and Mr. Fabisiak's class were given certificates in recognition of their hard work. You can watch their wonderful film by clicking here.
It was suggested that the animation should be entered into the FIS Film Competition and we were delighted to receive the news that we have been shortlisted as finalists for the FIS Film Festival 2013. We will join 23 other schools in the Helix on the 6th of November for the final. We can't wait!
